Good afternoon…. I don’t know if I am in the right place…. I discharged as an RM2(SS) from COMSUBPAC in 1971… Qualified on the fast attacks Snook and later was on the Permit when it changed homeport to Pearl, after which I transferred to shore duty. I have stayed in contact with Lt. Clark Hill who was commander of my watch and who lives in Kansas. I live on the Island of Lanai and just met a former office who served (and retired) from Boomers.
Looking to find a group in Hawaii who may get together from time to time and even visit the docks to view the boats and maybe even get a chance to go below decks…even for a minimal tour. In today’s world, may not be possible, but at least want to try.
